Yeah that is from my original thread from back in 2009..

I can tell you from first hand experience going back many years that if the speaker enclosures are acoustically "dead" enough........

Mine too and as I periodically note, I use a quarter stood on edge to determine if a speaker is rigid/damped enough and this applies to any vibrating mass. Once all components are optimally damped, the room modes are transparent [null out] for all intent and purpose.

Both tweeters, 6041-ST and 950-8A seem flattering to the Gauss 1502. I wonder where Bart Locanthi was during their design and inception.
